Off the coast of Newfoundland. There is 150 feet above water and 9 times that under water.
I hear they are very dangerous when they get that close to shore. They sometimes topple over onto the adjoining land. Nice photo!

Not likely. They mostly turn over when they are floating freelyβ¦..nothing below to support them. Happens when they get into warmer waters or rough waters that melts the ice on one side faster than the others.
