I like the old classics, especially silents. But I have so many favorites, it's a daunting task. From the oldest:
Birth of a Nation
The General
Most early Charlie Chaplin's, especially The Goldrush
The Great Dictator
Early John Wayne's, corny but entertaining
How the West Was Won
Blazing Saddles
Top Secret
Indiana Jones and.....anything
Gettysburg
Glory
Planet of the Apes, the first. The sequels were made for bucks,
but the first was a classic!
Val Kilmer and......anything
Robert Duvall and.....anything
Etc., etc., etc.
DB
Loc: Myrtle Beach, SC
Philadelphia Story (all Hepburn & Tracey movies)
Bridges of Madison County
Dead Poets Society
Goodbye Girl (all Marsha Mason Movies)
We Were Soldiers and Young (Hubby was a combat medic in the IaDrang Valley and AnKhe 1965-66)
Shawshank Redemption
The Unsinkable Molly Brown
Fried Green Tomatoes
And one sleeper thriller I haven't seen in a long time
Vanishing Act. with Margoo kidder and Elliot Gould, Fred Gwen.
I was hoping someone one would create this thread.
Casablanca... hands down!
Favorite musical = South Pacific
Gotta throw in The Big Chill and John Wayne's The Seekers
I have so many movies that I like from just about every genre I've been exposed to. I like all the Lethal Weapon movies, all of Steven Seagal's, pretty much anything that has something blowing up in it. Goonies is one that I'll watch every time it comes on. Anything w/Harrison Ford doesn't disappoint. I could go on & on...

Avatar in Blue Ray
Original War of the Worlds
Original Body Snatchers
3:10 To Yuma Newest Version
