Thanks Jimmy, things are not quite ready to bloom here in Connecticut. so these are from last season's yield.
This past week in Western Va. (around the 1000 ft. elevation) the Bradford Pears, Daffodils, Snow Crocus, and forsythia have burst forth from their Winter's Slumber. As a photog, these sights just make me Giddy at the possibilities. I just Love to document the Beauty that He provides for us photogs. The White Birch against the Bue Skies Really Makes Me . . . Smile, JimmyT Sends

Jimmy, I think you in Western VA are probably 1-2 temp zones better than what we are in northern CT...was low/mid thirties this morning with an icy rain. To avoid any chance of frost here we have to wait till very late May or early June to be sure before we put anything in the ground.
Need to let Mother Nature make up her mind. We'll hit 61 here in New Haven tomorrow, but 36 on Monday.
Being on the Sound you're gonna be a bit warmer than us in Torrington Flip. We did hit mid 70's this week, still nothing popping up through the ground though.
