What has happened to the Feminists?
There was a time when any woman, who was disadvantaged in any way by society, would get support by feminists who would get on TV and other media proclaiming the prejudice and unfairness of the situation. Feminism was a large and formidable movement.
Not today however: transgender males in sports are ruining the careers of woman who are at the top of their game but because biological males are stronger than females, they can no longer win in their sport. Lost scholarships for the women, careers ruined, no outcry, no media coverage, no sympathy.

Funny, I never noticed any of this protesting on the main-stream national news. Maybe I should watch Fox more.

The pendulum will swing back when enough people see the social claim of transgender as a falsity because an individual cannot alter his or her gender. Instead, this condition of gender occurs at conception (biology 101).
For example, the parents of a female youngster with the potential to excel in a sport will protest when their youngster must compete with biologic males posing as females, to the detriment of true females. We may assume that such parents will throw their support to politicians calling for a level playing field.
In turn, a compromise may emerge by way of a third sports category for males who self-identify as females. Then, like would compete with like.

I'm not sure if there is enough interest in a 3rd sport to bring in the big money.
What is wrong with the transgender men competing in men's sports. A win in this category would be a big plus to transgenders'.

Depending on the sport they may not have ALL THE "EQUIPMENT" of the other men, so they may be carrying a bit less "weight", all other things being equal.

In the equation for Diversity, Inclusion and Equity; for the Equity part to work, someone else has to have their Equity stripped from them no matter how hard they worked to attain it. This will be the end of women's sports if allowed to continue.This is the power of the state to determine a person's merit due it's own perverse definition.
