Typical flora in the lower elevations in heart of the Motherlode: lots of oak trees--

This shot was taken from the Campo Seco Turnpike in Mokelumne Hill. The body of water is the eastern tip of Pardee Reservoir.

Nikon Z5 and vintage Nikon Series E 100mm f2.8 lens.
