Great set, Mark. Nothing says spring like Little League games on a Saturday morning.

Thanks very much Joe. Nice to be outdoors and see the kids enjoying themselves.

"Speed and a Smile" picture is the best one to me. Don't let that picture get lost. 50 years from now he can look at that picture and smile.

Thanks so much Bill. I love that one as well. He was so excited to have hit the ball and it really shows.

Thanks so much Issa. That was exactly my intent and I’m pleased that you saw the set in that light.

Might want to put a larger card in your camera - the opportunity for more fun shots like these is endless!

You’re absolutely right Raymond - especially at 7fps! Thanks so much for commenting.

Oh yes, I remember T-Ball well. It's a bit like herding cats!

Thanks Chris. When they field the ball it looks more like rugby!

Mark,
Not trying to hijack your post but this is what you have to look forward to:
My grandson from T ball to Division I college ball (the catcher).

I love these Steve! I hope I’ll be around to enjoy seeing him in college!

Very good series, Mark, looks like he is enjoying himself.

Thanks very much Earnest. He was having a “ball” (pardon the pun).

Good set, Mark! This brings back wonderful memories as a T-ball coach.

Thanks very much Mike. I coached his mom and aunt in Bobby Sox softball. I can't find the team pics and I'm too sore to rummage through the attic. I was very vocal when I coached and one of the young woman umpires became a patient of mine years later. She said she loved me as a doctor but hated me as a coach! I think she ejected me once for arguing a close call.

That does bring back some memories of my boys. When we lived in Florida I helped coach a T-ball team for my two older sons. I was exciting, fun and frustrating all at the same time. Loved it.

Thanks very much Photog. I know the feeling! See my response to UTMike.

So many memories...thank you!!

On one of the T-ball teams we had a kid who was just 100% energy and 0% knowledge of baseball. When it was his turn to bat he hit the ball off the tee and just stood there. All the kids started yelling at him to run so he did and took off to third base…and kept going straight down the foul line. Everybody…kids, coaches, parents,…yelling at him and a few kids start chasing him, which only made him run faster. Finally, the kids start yelling “First base!! First base!!” and pointing at first base. The kid hears them and makes a sharp turn still running full speed and heads to first. When he gets there he stands on the bag, huge smile on his face, clapping his hands. I look at the other coach, shaking my head. He looks back at me and says: “Well, the kid can run!!”
So many memories...thank you!! br br On one of th... (show quote)

Great story Dan. Glad they had one of the coaches pointing the way to first base or we would have had a similar situation! Thanks very much for commenting.
