Lots of you have commented on my Hudson River book post with interest in the Tall Ships.
These tall sailing ships that I photographed back in 1994 were made with Kodak slide film.
I thought to post a few more, some are in my book Action Along the Hudson River in a chapter called FleetWeek.
On my Mac Book pro the density looks good but on this webpage looks too dark, do you see them as dark images ?

I love those tall ships. So regal and graceful. None of them look very dark to me.

Yes, they look underexposed to me. The images here look like photos where the expanse of open sky affected the camera's metering and probably 1/2 to 1 full stop extra exposure would have helped. I'm sure you know that these digitized images can be easily improved with minor editing.

They look to me like a misplaced post that should have been made to the Photo Gallery.

I can not find a 'delete' link so I can redo the post by postprocessing the images again.
Anyone ?

The <edit> button exists for just around 50-minutes after creating a post. There, you can remove an image and / or remove and then attach a replacement. You might <report> and simply ask ADMIN to remove the entire post.

I and my young family gathered on the Jersey side of the Hudson on July 4, 1976, to see the sailing ships come up the river in celebration of our country's 200th anniversary.

What a glorious sight those Tall Ships present! Thanks for posting.

[The images do come across a little dark on my screen.]

Don't mean to be so unaware, but I did look all over....again where is the 'edit' link ?
I saw 'remove' links while posting but not after posting.

Dramatic with the mist coming off the water, those heavy cranes suggest heavy cargo. Nice 2 bridges side by side.

"50 minutes" ended about 15:24, based on the timestamp of your first post. When you wrote at 14:58, that was still a valid option, but no longer at 16:59.

How about starting a new topic...Tall Ships on the Hudson River (Amended)? Re-submit adjusted photos if necessary.
