Took this in my backyard in central Maryland. I lightened the shadows a little. Opions please.
Very nicely done. Looks tranquil. Hope you donโt mind me attaching a photo from a friend. They got a little dusting as well. ๐๐
My opinion? Itโs just a snapshot. Wouldnโt have a clue about how to make it better. Sorry.

No problem. Snow comes and goes in our neck of the woods.

Presumably it's a documentary-type record of the event, so composition and storytelling aren't an issue. Image-wise I'd recommend an overall lightening and even more lifting of the shadows, plus a WB shift towards yellow to make the snow less blue. The sky looks good so maybe the WB shift should be done via a selection of the snow.
In Lightroom, he could select the sky and then invert the selection to highlight everything else. Use that mask to leave the sky alone and play with the WB in the remaining area and bring up the shadows just a little.
Or he could post it as the camera caught it. Looks good to me.
I think it looks nice as it is!
Very nice picture.
