At this point in time the US economy as well as it's safety is dependant upon fossil fuels. It's very existance is dependent upon them. We MUST get adequate supplies. THere are only 2 ways. Domestic or foreign. Also, at this time alternatives are simply inadequate to meet our needs. So what do we do? What is the best way? We are very lucky as we have more than adequate oil available. But we do not have the ability to refine enough crude to meet our needs. So what should we do. Under Biden we have CUT our production and imported more. Hence part of the doubling of fuel prices, which began before the Ukraine war. And Biden has PROMISED to END fossil fuel usage. Now admittedly I am not en energy expert. But it seems to me that we MUST increase our ability to extract and refine crude oil to domesticly meet our needs. So I ask this Question. Why is Biden NOT DOING THIS. With the stroke of his pen he could unleash American industry to drill and refine more than enough. We just might be able to export crude or refined fuel. Biden must know this. Nobody can be that stupid so as not to know this. Is Biden really that stupid not to know this???

If Trump had made all those bald faced lies I think he would have been reelected and our Mexico border would still be closed and we would be energy efficient. LOL, it seems that many are chilled enough to air their simple solutions to the oil issue with their vast understanding of the oil industry.

Do the geniuses also figure that if we produced all of our own oil that would mean cheaper prices? Why does the world market set our domestic production now?

BTW, I am in no way defending the astuteness or lack thereof with respect to Biden, but rather pointing out the less than brilliant solutions being offered.

Garden early stuff going in next week! I may triple up and export some if I can get some of the subsidies farmers enjoy to bolster their exports.
