Although he states he did not disturb the bears, they sure show an awareness of the drone being there. Somehow, that disturbs me.

Pictures look a bit odd to me and I understand that pole bears are solitary animals until mating time and do not live in packs...

I don't think the polar bear will experience any long-term symptoms of his/her space being violated.

That is an extremely interesting set of photos. The bears do not look at all intimidated or bothered by the drone. They do not appear frightened or distrustful of it, only curious. Some excellent photos of Polar Bears and providing some interesting insight into their behavior.

A fantastic new perspective. I suspect that Polar Bears are solitary partially because of food sources. They apparently can live together in the shelters because they have enough to eat.
The only way Mr Kokh disturbed the bears is if his photographs cause other less considerate individuals to intrude on them, an unfortunate trait of mankind.
