But if you look at either the number of topics or number of posts by section, The Attic comes in 3rd in both category, surpassed only by Main Discussion or Photo Gallery.
I find my contribution to these statistics embarrassing. I have taken the first step and unsubscribed to The Attic. Going forward, should you see a post from me here, please gently remind me what a collosal waste of time this is, that no one here is ever going to change their opinion, my posting here is impressing no one, and I have more important things to do.

Yes. I look at the number of views, replies, and participants to Attic topics and it is anemic. There is a constant barrage of information which is complex at times to read and sort through. And it does take time to craft an intelligent and researched response. And I know no one's mind is being changed.
Politics is important though. Plato said, If you do not take an interest in the affairs of your government, then you are doomed to live under the rule of fools.
And even though I learn many things from the truly informed and smart people on here and it helps me to vent my outrages, I have decided to cut back my involvement.
On another note, you post no stats on the Nude and Boudoir forum which gets prodigious numbers of views.
