Here is a 5-image pano of magnificent Catawba Falls in Pisgaw Nat'l forest in North Carolina. If you zoom in you can see a person perched on one of the ledges. Original file size is huge-- 43MB. I have reduced it to 3.5MB for posting here on UHH.

Photo taken with my Nikon Z5 and Nikon 50mm f1.8 lens.

A really nice picture as are the other landscapes you have posted.

I'm wondering how the fellow got to where he is without slipping on the rocks. I'll bet he got his rear wet from sitting on one.

Thank you! Re: the hiker... yes, I was amazed when I looked up and saw him there. The rocks were VERY slippery, we were sliding all over the trail just getting to the waterfall. I almost took a tumble trying to get this shot lol standing in a pool of water and slippery moss. He must have been a very experienced hiker is all I can say!

Fabulous waterfall. I hope you tried different shutter speeds for variations on the look of the water.

Nope, I did not. Believe it or not, I shot this handheld, slowly moving through the images doing a 50% overlap. Could not bring my shutter speed any lower than what it was or I don't think it would have stitched accurately. Didn't have my tripod with me.

My mistake. You did say it was a panorama. If you go back I would take a wide angle lens (looks like a 24mm would do it from where you stood) and a tripod.

In fact there are dozens of closeups you could have made with a telephoto lens too. Looks like a photographers dream site.
