This bald eagle was landing on the ice to sit and eat a fish but the ice had gotten thin enough that the ice would not support his weight and he fell through. The eagle sat in the water for almost a minute. Finally decided to up and fly out. I didn’t catch any shots of the eagle escaping the water but the final photo is that eagle flying. These are heavily cropped as it happened a ways away.
