Battery Question

I have only 1 battery for my camera. I leave it in the camera. I check occasionally and if I found that it goes low I charge it up and put it back in the camera.

If you do video I would buy a spare but it seems to work for you. I do astrophotography and their are long sequences and cold weather so I need a spare

With your usage an after market battery set would be fine for emergencies. If your OK and never come close to fully draining your battery you're good the way you are
