Very nice images. Great post, but wouldn't have been easier to ask the owner to remove the towel? In the past I have found most car owners to be very. accommodating .

yes, but he wasn't around, and I surely wasn't going to take the liberty. I suspect with the standard trunk handle being removed during the customization process, the possibility of the mechanism, or solenoid to open the trunk may have failed and closing it would have created a real problem for him, but that's just a guess. Thanks!
