CindyHouk Loc: Nw MT

So we left MT on Jan 27th - made stops in NV, AZ and UT and returned to MT on March 3....UT is my favorite! We haven't been back to Southern UT since 1995, it was nice to catch up with a friend that lives in Alta...special thanks to Mild Candor....was really nice to see ya again!

One area is called Topoweep or Tuweep....most locals know it as Tuweep. It's a 61 mile drive on a not so good dirt road but the end of the road is an AMAZING view of the Grand Canyon from the North Rim....it's a 3000 ft vertical cliff and you can see the Colorado River from it. All these shots are from the Tuweep area.

The last 2 pictures are of my hubby and I ..... one is from this trip and the other is from the same area in 1990! I tried to remember exactly where we were sitting but didn't have the photo with me....so there was no way to recreate the same shot...oh well!
