I need help with layers, masking, brushing and other individual adjustments. I believe some of the above are similar to LR not sure.
Also suggestions for compositing, maybe with Gimp.
We can do on line with Zoom or another program. If you happen to live in middle TN in person would work.

Congrats, you have the correct mindset not often seen. You are on the way up for sure.

Once you have purchased a camera, lenses, tripod, and other needs for your photography, your only need now is education. At that point if you have some extra money available to invest in your photography and processing skills, you are far better off spending it on educating yourself about how to take and process good images or taking workshops where you can make and turn out great images, rather than on more equipment that won’t give you a clue on how to make better images.
