Gifted D700

Received and have begun to try a few shots with my “new” D700 and a 50mm f1.8 lens.
This body was gifted to me by a fellow UHH.
I cannot yet share pics as I am waiting for a lightning to USB adapter to transfer pics to iPad.
Camera seems to be working perfectly thus far.

I can tell you with the D700s I've used, at least to me, the noise is as good as you will find on any camera. The fact that the light receptors are larger and better spaced allow for very low noise as opposed to the smaller and more tightly spaced sensors on the newer higher resolution cameras. You will fall in love with that camera as long as you don't plan to enlarge your shots to billboard size.
