I collect windfall firewood all year, it hams out to about 1/4 hour a day. I'll do it as long as I can, I like the work.
Besides, it allows me to french polish during damp weather.

There are many wackos that would like to outlaw water stoves. The truth is that rotting wood generates more CO2 than burning wood.

That looks like you will be burning and producing a lot of greenhouse gasses into our atmosphere much more than burning clean fossil fuels hastening global warming for all of us. A little selfish don't you think?
Not to be a downer, but Newsom wants to phase out natural gas use in Cali. Don't know about anyone else, but use of electric power to run heat, dryer, water heater, and electric range is untenable, especially if the costs are prohibitive. My electric bill currently is $3,800/yr WITH SOLAR. I do not have any electric appliances.

" ... clean fossil fuels ... " bless your heart. Is that like 'innocent Trumps'?
My stove has another chamber that burns secondary gases.
Most of my fuel is new growth without much stored carbon.
My stove is less polluting than coal fired mains power.
As another poster here pointed out, timber left to rot is a bigger problem. I'm checking that one out.
