I collect knives, and this is nothing special, but I think maybe it was made for a special job, and I would like to know what it is. I can only guess. The blade is hi-carbon steel and very sharp and thin and doesn't have a very good finish, it is very well made and has a very heavy tang with 1 pin to keep the blade in place the handle has a very decretive swirl design. because of the shape of the blade, I think of "sausage" could it be the special knife for cutting sausage? I have posted this on knife collection pages but none have the massive knowledge base numbers of UHH so I am hoping someone knows for sure. Thanks in advance.

Have one also. Use it many times for filler repair. Handy for those areas where the square putty blade doesn't do.
What is a tablet?

What is a tablet?

Wouldn't it make the filler concave?

Concave, curves, oddball areas,,,,,,

Clean bird poop off cages. The edge is not sharp to cut into finish.

Wife used it to spread icing on cake, it creates nice little waves.

It looks like a fleshing knife used to remove flesh from hides before tanning.
The handle resembles a corncob!!

Looks like an "Asian peeler knife", but of course I could be wrong.

Good morning, here's a tip for you that might help now, or in the future. If on a PC, right click on the image, if on a phone or tablet just hold your finger on the image. Either way you will get a "pop-up menu". You'll see an option for "Google lens", and if you click on that you'll find similar images, and information. This works for anything, (not just knives), I've used it to identify birds, plants, car parts etc. It works really well. Hope this is helpful for you.
Ray.

I was in the printing industry for many years and it is a padding knife. To make scratch pads you used to stack up the paper and paint it with padding compound. when it dried you would slice the pads apart with a knife like that.
