Why Trump won in 2016

In retrospect it's quite easy to explain why Trump won the Presidency. He didn't win it. Hillary lost it. It was hers to win. 2 MAJOR blunders cost her the presidency. She has yet to blame herself for her loss. First--she referred to Trump supporters as Deplorables. This galvanized his base and insured a large turnout. Second--She ignored several states. Thought she could win the electoral college without them, She thought the popular vote majority would make up for the electoral college loss, she was wrong.

That is the truth.

And some feel Biden did not win in 2020, but rather Trump lost... because of his mistakes.

Both post are true.
Biden’s strength was he wasn’t trump
Trumps weakness was his ego in that he never campaign to the middle - he didn’t think he needed to.

It is sad indeed that voting in the U.S. Presidential election has become a process of choosing the lesser of two evils.

Please explain how Trump's presidency was an "evil" for the country.

Amen! But I'll do it every time. Not to vote is to guarantee...well this.

Trump was the lesser of two evils.
I did not comment on his presidency. His policies were fine. His behavior not so much. He let his ego get the better of him. Although to his credit, he did maintain his sanity during the most relentless character assassination attempt in the history of the universe.

Explaining Trump's loss isn't difficult. The voting rules were changed as a result of the virus. It allowed unsolicited mail in ballots.Trump won the walk in voting. He is the only presdent to have been elected by a virus. No virus, no Biden
