While walking through the yard yesterday, I found this Morning Glory seed pod with its climbing vine on the fence and I staged it for a focus stacking session using the 85mm 1X-5X macro lens set at about 1.5X to fill the frame with the areas that I found to be of interest.

I set the lens at f/5.6 and set the distance for each shot to be taken at 50-microns for a total of 85-images using two diffused LED desk lamps to provide constant illumination. The stack of images was then processed in Zerene Stacker to produce this final image.

Thanks, Curmudgeon. I was going to stage a focus stacking session of a potato chip to show the rich details of its textures, however, the local Walmart was completely out. I asked the stock manager if they had some in the back and he told me that there is a shortage because someone out in Arizona orders them by the truckload and reportedly feeds them to the ants. Can you imagine that?

I can send you one if you like. I have a case of Party Size Lays stored away. When the weather warms up those ants are going to be hungry
