All parents have had days when we question if we were doing it right with our kids. But there are also days when you know you did something right... Our son drove three hours just ahead of the recent east coast Nor'easter, purchased a snow blower and worked to clear our access/exit in spite of the storm conditions. We watched with a warming pride inside.

Chance Logan your son is a threat to the snowbirds that hide in the drifts. Great photos to view in the summer, we forget the snow and ice of the winter as we sip Ice Tea. I move to Florida in 1976 but I do recall my Michigan youth with the snow and drifts... the Ice on the windshields of our weak defroster cars. All we had was our backs and those wide flat shovels.

You are lucky to have a caring son.

Thanks, Angler. Always proud before this, but once in a while it just happens to hit home a bit more.

Much appreciated, Jim70. Too bad that when things like this happen you can't know which part of what you did worked. If we knew, we could have done it more!
