How can he know the score when he appoints an inept person (Kamal) as Border Czar? Recall that she went elsewhere, Central America, to find "the root causes" of illegal migration to the United States. She could have saved the taxpayer dollars involved simply by surveying the daily catch of illegal migrants at the border.
The illegal migrants who say anything on camera cite a job as their motivation. The news media businesses repeat that the illegal migrants come to America for a better life, as if this personal aim justifies the lawbreaking involved.
After all, economic betterment does not appear in the criteria for amnesty. In fact, 9 out of 10 amnesty applications fail on examination of them for validity. So, the foreign nationals who illegally cross the border very likely now this fact and in turn ignore it in favor reaching American soil by lawbreaking.
