I Resised the Z9

I watched the Tony Northrup comparison and a few other reviews of the Z9, and I have no desire to buy one. There's nothing wrong with the camera. It's just that I don't need such fantastic specs to do the kind I shooting that I like. Shooting 120 fps sound great, but after just three seconds, you have 360 pictures to go through. I suppose having 47MP might come in handy, but for the price, I'll skip the Z9 and keep using my D750. I've bought cars that cost less than the Z9.
If you saw the Northrup video, you noticed that the Nikon, the Canon, and the Sony each had strengths and weaknesses. I'm waiting for a camera with all strengths and no weaknesses. : )

Jerry I agree it is more camera than I need right now. But as the D5 begat the D500 and in some ways the D810 begat the D750 and perhaps this will eventually begat a less expensive model. I have a D7200,D7500 and a D500. When they die I am sure mirrorless technology will have jumped leaps and bounds. Till then, like you, I am content with what I have

I don't need a Z9 either but I would like its autofocus and Expeed 7 processor to make its way into a Z6 III or Z7 III.

I agree my D750 works just fine and will a $6000 camera make me take better pictures probably not.

Well, Nikon came out nearly a year later than Sony and Canon...
And has not equaled them...yet.
Canon and Sony are in a near tie tech wise...Nikon released last...not quite there.
Canon and Sony did not have pipeline problems either....they received a quick return on their investment.
Nikon is not as lucky there...
Now we will see if Nikon can keep up the pace set by the leaders...
They are still being lapped...
And has not equaled them...yet.
