Gorgeous photo of that beautiful baby!!!! Buckskins are my favorite....I guess because their coloring coincides with Siamese cats.
One of my best horse experiences was one day when I was at the horse farm with a friend of mine and the owner took us into one of the pastures to see the buckskin baby. The three of us were sitting on the ground when the colt came up and laid down in my lap. I was the furthest away but he picked me to lay on. I couldn't stop loving on him. Mom wasn't even the least bit concerned that baby had walked off and was with a human she didn't know.
Please keep me in mind for sending photos to if there is a buckskin baby.
Please give all you horses hugs and kisses from me!!

I certainly will. Baby is guaranteed to be buckskin from my paint mare
Outstanding return, Carol! Please do not wait so long for your next photos.

The pic is great, the horse looks sad to me. I had a horse in the 90's ( well SHE made me buy it) I ride well but am not a horse person. I could never read the horse, was nervous saddling it etc. etc. She had one her whole life, loved the smell of the barn , loved cleaning stalls . just not my thing.....
That horse knows how to pose for a portrait! He even knows how to look just a little sad.
Great shot!

Nicely done portrait. You can really see the "ARAB" in the Morgan breed.
Yes you can. Thanks for the comment.
Beautiful horse. Nice image. I do miss having horses.

It has been 5 years since I have posted. That seems like a forever but it really isn't. I can no longer ride my beloved horses but that doesn't keep me from having them and of course taking shots of them. Here is my newest addition to my breeding program. He is a perlino Morgan colt and this picture was taken at 18 months old. Perlino means he will only produce buckskin, palomino or smoky black. At 78 I hope to live long enough to enjoy some of his foals and no nothing wrong with me just the usual old age problems and surgery on my knee that didn't work out well.

Now that is a great horse portrait!
A lovely portrait. Can't wait to see some foal pics.
That’s a beautiful horse portrait, Carol.
Breeding is a lot of fun and a lot of trouble at the same time; we used to breed Appaloosas. Good luck with your project.
Gorgeous portrait for a wall somewhere. The nicest horse portrait I recall ever seeing.
GORGEOUS! ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!
