In sunny Sarasota, Florida, the Ringling Museum is a must see. The ground house an art museum featuring hundreds of works by many of the great masters. The grounds are beautiful and there are marble statues sprinkled amongst the tropical plants. The Ringling museum, Ca'd'Zan is open for tours and there is a magnificent view of Sarasota Bay. But a major attraction is the Circus Museum. There are two buildings and my favorite houses the miniature circus. This circus is labeled Howard Brothers because John Ringling would not agree to have it called Ringling Brothers.
These are just a few shots of the entry walkway with the circus train behind glass.

That sure looks like a place worth visiting. Nice set.
I've seen that place since 1973 when I first visited Sarasota, but never went in; maybe next time...

Thank you, Ken. It would be easy to spend several days exploring everything on the Ringling grounds. This is just the very beginning of the Circus museum. More to follow.

It is well worth the effort. I love the art museum and the residence as well.
Thank you, QD. That looks like a great place for circus fans, too!

The detail in the whole miniature circus is amazing. Mr. Tibbal is still living and making pieces for the display.
Nice pictures. It's quite as museum. I've been there and taken many of the same of pictures from that part and other parts of the museum. It's a great photo op!
