The fact that many GOP members were more concerned about the picture President Biden’s speech painted, rather than the inaction of trump during the hours long attack on the US Capitol Building says volumes about where their loyalties lie.

Their loyalties do NOT lie with the US Constitution!

But there is the fact that they've been implicated in the planning, funding, and execution of the January 6, 2021 Insurrection, so they're trying to deflect the media scrutiny away from themselves to President Biden’s condemning speech.

The GOP has now spent a year trying to whitewash and rewrite the actual events, actions, and trump's inaction on January 6, 2021.

They are successfully defending the indefensible. Very disturbing.

Wasn't there an entire impeachment proceeding that put this argument to rest? And you lost it. Now who is still arguing about the last election (stolen from Trump)?

Biden aims to save his administration from the dust bin of history. His big welfare legislation flopped once it met rational opposition. His Veep has proved herself a flop at any political project. She cannot even organize and run her own office. Her approval in the polls has plunged to 28 percent (AKA failure). His verbal flubs continue to embarrass. The news media outlets dog him for declining to humor their demands for answering questions. Although Biden has some success as President, he presents as subpar through the eyes of the news media now biased against him. For example, Biden delivered a major policy speech in which he ended the U.S. action of nation building, but the news media has mentioned it only briefly.

Biden like Pelosi fears Trump and his aspirations. The political attacks on the former President deflect from the weak Biden administration.

Meanwhile, Biden has the job of blackening the former President and the GOP ahead of the midterm elections in which prognosticators suppose the GOP will gain enough seats in Congress to take back the House and the Senate, an outcome signaling Biden as a lame duck in the second half of his presidency.

An astute reader will note that the Biden attacks on the GOP regarding the proposed federal voting rights legislation never even once discusses in any detail the attempts by the states to improve the integrity of the voting process. Instead, the news media in connivance with the Biden administration and the Democratic Party harps that these attempts restrict voting. Yet, this cabal never says how so.

In a few months, the voters across the nation will speak at the polls to determine the political makeup of the Congress. One can argue that the political noise now emanating from the Democrats along with from their factotums and flunkies constitutes a big political project to keep the Democrats in power and in control.

The spineless GOP in the Senate CHOSE party loyalty over the US Constitution!

I'll predict the responses.

"There wasn't any evidence."

After hours of video evidence presented in trump's second Senate Impeachment Trial, you can't claim there wasn't any evidence.

Now with even more evidence coming out from the hours of testimony and over 9,000 pages of documents turned over to the 1/6 Committee, you can no longer claim that there wasn't any evidence.

The evidence is now outing GOP members of Congress.

How many GOP members will go down for supporting the orange autocrat wannabee?

I'm not limiting that count to just members of Congress, it's meant to also include all of the trump cult members across the country.

We know that there have already been over 725 arrests, and that the DOJ is still looking for at least another 125.

But those counts don't include any currently sitting members of the US House, or Senate, any State Elected Officials, or fake state electors.

Forged Electoral College documents submitted to subvert the will of the people is a Federal crime.

There are at least three sets of those forged documents carrying their respective State Seals which were submitted to the National Archives, and have already been exposed to date.

What would happen with partisan appointed state election officials?

You already know that answer.

The will of the people would be thrown out.

The partisan appointed official in many states, because of new laws, can throw out the actual election results and declare a different candidate as the winner.

You know that I know and I know that you know, but the conservatives on here believe that the only way they can win is to rig elections. Their AZ counterparts and others have admitted to such.

I believe that they learned the only to win is by rigging from the Democrats.

What conservatives here believe it? It won’t take much to beat arguably the weakest man ever to be in the WH.

Hey, Rose, let's make a deal... I will agree that Biden MIGHT be the weakest man ever to be in the WH (although things could change over the next few years; time will tell) if you agree that Trump IS the worst president to ever have been in the WH to date (the chances of him winning again AND becoming a decent POTUS in a second term are really slim).

They also said that a man who stayed in his basement all election season wouldn’t win…the gop is finding out that the voting public is fickle.
