You choose to ignore the leader of the what some still refer to as the Republican Party and essentially reference him as being insignificant? There are most certainly party members that find his control quite stifling while contemplating their possible future endeavors.

Translation: RINOs are butt-hurt because after they helped the Dems besmirch Trump he's still a force to be reckoned with.

BS! He controls the party purse strings and the leftover cultists in the party are afraid to do anything without his blessing. History will show that he needed no help besmirching his reputation.

The only cult I am aware of is the Progressive cult of followers wanting a more Socialist Government. It is sad to see a Government formed by the Citizens that has survived for 250 years to become the most powerful Nation on the Planet under attack from a cult of Give Me everything. We are already seeing what the Covid pandemic has revealed about Socialism, all of the business shutdowns along with all the extra dollars handed out in unemployment and stimulus have left us with more job openings than all the unemployed could fill.

You make it sound like Trump has a bunch of big donors on the string and they would turn off the taps if he asked. The truth is Trump raised a bunch of money in small amounts directly from donors and yes, the RNC benefitted. That's not Trump's fault. If Trump decides to run again, he'll get that support back. If he decides not to run, the next Republican candidate will have to earn that support by being Trumpian. What the Republicans need is a more palatable Trump. A Romney or Bush clone won't do.

That said, Trump's next bowel movement could beat Biden or Harris if they run. The Dems need someone new and like it or not, their candidate better be more Trumpian too if they want to have a chance. An AOC type candidate will be too radical.

The Joe Biden Dems voted for is not the Joe Biden that moved into the White House. They didn't want the liberal hand-puppet Joe, they wanted the too boring to screw anything up, Joe. Right now Joe is governing like AOC has a strap-on planted in his a$$.

Your inference of Trump having big donors is on you and that is not what I said. The truth is that Trump is directing traffic and holding possibly aspiring party members hostage. Your amplification of my statement with regards to Trump confirms my allegations. The rest of your thoughts are simply your own personal conjecture. I have never in any way, shape or form condoned Biden’s ineptness and stated that he won for two reasons, one being dissatisfaction with Trump and the other being his, Trump’s, mouth. He was thoughtful enough to give away the senate as well. My conjecture…

The thread topic was about Trump being a frequent topic.

Not insignificant by any means but its really bizarre how some people bring him up for anything and everything.

I'm quite curious as to your definition of socialism. Why would you find a capitalist autocracy preferable to a socialistic democracy? Even if you have a true benevolent dictator, no one lives forever and you'll likely have no say in who succeeds him.

Yes, other than that, forum topics seem to always be well on point and never stray.

They almost never end with a dissertation on the ills of Biden and company.
