In all of the new democrat proposed bills, especially the BBB, , not 1 penny is proposed for the military. With China building a port in western africa, and Panama permits, so they have access to the Atlantic, and threatening Taiwan. And Russia amassing troops on the Crimea border. And Iran resuming uranium enrichment. The US continues to fall behind. Biden is directing these policies. No wonder our adversarys have no fear of the US anymore. We are closer to an international conflict than we were under Trumpy

1. Any that thinks China is a threat for war is a fool and falling for their Reaganism tactic. They are winning the economic war while we worry about a non existent military threat.
2. I am supportive of trump as you can see from my post but the defense department Has two standalone. Spending bills every year . One that funds things you are thinking about that is already in the senate

The Chinese have 355 ships and submarines. We don;t SHIPS not itty bitty boats.. Follow your own advice. The Chinese have Hypersonic missiles we dont. The Chinese make almost ALL the components of 100% of our antibiotics, we dont. The Chinese make ALL of our cell phones We dont. The Chines own most of our national debt we dont.. The Chinese are a very serious adversary. They can Cripple us in a week end. We are VERY much as risk. They can overtake Taiwan in a week end and short of Nukes there is no way for us to stop them. China is getting stronger and under biden we are not. Russia is ammassing troop on the border with Crimea. Iran is enriching more uranium, on the way to a nuke. The US is a layghing stock to our adversaries. You can sum up our foreign policy weakness in one word AFGHANISTAN

I think we presently have a pretty symbiotic relationship with China. We're a market for many of their goods and they need the money. On the threat front, you can't argue that they appear to colonizing large portions of the world using those same dollars we pay them for those goods. It's easy for China to be dominant when they lack concern for their own populace.

Their biggest needs are oil, iron ore, and semiconductors. Some of their biggest trading partners are in their backyard: Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea. Why do they work so hard at being the 2nd biggest super power? Maybe they'd like to bring those places into the fold. The big question is, can we really do anything if they decided to take those countries?

No I never quibbled over the “ number “ of boats but we are magnitudes more powerful. By tonnage , by missle tubes, by aircraft and by carriers . Many of the 400 ships of the Chinese navy are nothing more than what we have in the Coast guard.

They even count their icebreakers (3)

Yes we have a very powerful naval force. More powerful than China. But China has a very big advantage. They only need a 1 ocean navy. We need a 2 ocean fleet. In an armed conflict with China their entire fleet can be used Ours can not. We must leave a signifigant component in the atlantic. And therein negates a large part of our numerical advantage. Moreover they have a much larger land army. Somewgere 1 and 2 million men. And if historyrepeats itself, China is only too willing to scacriface as many of it troops lives as it is required. They play by different rules,

To many mistakes in there to cover them all but here are a few.

1. China is not the largest holder of American debt. In fact they aren’t even the largest foreign holder . China bid second to Japan with slightly over $1trillion. You do the math.
3. China does not “ make cell phones” they assemble them them from parts they import from around the world. In fact less than 5% of the parts in an iPhone 12 come from China - less than America who is the largest parts supplier.

Just because you were a buck private in the Army doesn’t mean you’re a military expert. If your knowledge of the military is equal to your knowledge of the COVID vaccines, you should keep quiet. No one will believe you.
