Very nice --if slightly subdued, slightly overcast?-- light. Soft, but attractive, modeling rendered on the hoofers (the calves in particular). As good a rendering of the dusty gray-green of sagebrush as I've seen in a while. And as mentioned above, it does indeed have the 'look' of a C.M. Russell.

Kudos on this one, Boo.

I like it. What makes you think they are "beefallos"? Although I know that most Buffalo have some cow blood in their genetics.

LOL!

I know they are Bison... first view gave me the thought that "there's a lot of beef right there"... so, sort of got carried away.

This was taken at TRNP, N.D. - just before the sun came up over the hills. One of my favorite from that trip.
