Travel Angel.
Angels are around us not just during holidays but every day if we believe in them. Several years ago my wife and I along with our three small children left Florida for a holiday family trip to Nashville, Tennessee. Our Buick station wagon was filled with all the necessary items needed for this family of five. As always before a trip the car had been serviced and tires checked. I’m a stickler for making sure nothing should go wrong. Unfortunately a day into the trip our station wagon just stopped while driving on Georgia’s highway 75. We were not close to an exit and of course this was before cell phones! The children were restless and my wife was concerned. Then a truck with three burley young men arrived and offered to help out with a small fee. They wanted me to accompany them in their truck and leave my family on the side of the road. Knowing that this didn’t feel safe I indicated that we were waiting for a tow truck. They left laughing and I sat thanking God for the protection. Then from across the highway in the opposite direction a man got out of his vehicle and walked over to our car. He was wearing a long black coat and had a black hat on. Since the hood was up I really didn’t see his face. Within a minute he just indicated to me to try and start the car. Instantly the car started and the family cried for joy. I got out of the car to thank him, but he had already disappeared and no car was visible on the other side of the highway. My wife and I know that this was an Angel sent to protect our young family. After arriving in Nashville, I had the trusty Buick checked out but there wasn’t anything wrong with it. Wishing everyone happy holidays and the more you believe the more you will enjoy life.
Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. KJV Hebrews 13:2
A couple of years ago my wife and I were walking the beach on Anna Maria Island in Florida on Christmas Eve….. I looked up and saw the strangest cloud formation in the form of angels. Needless to say all I had was my cell phone.
Attached is the result of those shots
I would only say that Angles are around you whether or not you believe in them!
So many things in life go unexplained. Glad you and your family were all made safe.
Great song by Chuck Brodsky: “We Are Each Other’s Angels”. You can find it on YouTube or music sites.
There truly ARE angels among us! Thanks for sharing your beautiful blessing! Merry Christmas to you and yours.

I have owned just one Buick in my life time. It would ‘vapor lock’ on long trips in the summer.
I re-directed the windshield washer hose so it would shoot a stream of water on the fuel pump.
When it started to cut-out, I just hit the windshield washer button to clear up the problem.
I only know from experience that without a guardian angel I wouldn't have made it this far.
I am sure many could post similar experiences.
