With vaccines and treatment options available is mask wearing (which don't work anyway) necessary? There is no science proving the effectiveness of masks preventing infection. Opinions??? My opinion first. NO masks

Masks simply protect the world from the individuals wearing them. Maybe if you place the mask over your mouth instead of your ears you might discover that the DO work?

there has never been a scientific, double blind, study verifying the efficacy of masks preventing covid transfer. Untill such a study is conducted everything said about masks preventing covid is speculation. If masks prevented transfer a pandemic could not happen. At the first sign of the start of any epidemic everyone would mask up and the problem would be over in a month or 2/ The yearly flu and the common cold have existed for 100;s of years. No masks, why? they dont work

Who cares at this point?

The Queensland state border just *reopened after a 150 day+ closure. International flights have resumed and masks haven't been mandated for around three weeks. I still wear my mask, just for good luck, and I'm double vaxxed and have my booster teed-up.

* 'Tyrannical' vax and recent covid test requirements for entry and **roaming free among the rest of the mob. Two week home and/or hotel quarantine for recalcitrant 'home researchers'.

** movies, coffee/dining, shopping ect.

You wanna wear a mask? fine . So long as it is not mandated. A mandate is a small step on the way to total government control. Big steps (total control) start with little steps

Best mask story for me so far. "Two men walking down the street with mask on. One guy says he smells fart. The other guy reminds the first that if he smells a fart through his mask it has already traveled through a pair of skivvies and a pair of jeans." So how much good do you think a mask really does?

Colorado Governor Jared Polis just dropped mask mandates in Colorado, saying they don’t work and are ineffective. Meanwhile, in New Mexico, our bitch governor still has us locked down, but people are starting to fight back.

You live alone and wear a mask in your house to protect you from you? That’s some serious genius level intelligence being shown. By the way, your quarantined hovel you live in looks comfortable.

Well, then you have to explain why surgeons wear masks during operation procedures.
