Our county is back to where it was one year ago - 1,047 Covid cases. My town is at its highest level ever, at 25. I'm afraid this is the new normal - lots of spreading Covid cases. Since humans can't fight it, our only hope is if Covid decides to evolve into something harmless.

...it's the flu. The Spanish Flu 'demic ended with a shrug...it's still with us! I'm done with the panic...actually never joined-in. If you're at risk, take precautions...otherwise live your life.

As of now vaccination is the weapon we have to bring Covid under control. I propose a Darwin award for all those who refuse to be vaccinated. Perhaps natural selection will just weed them out.

Humans can fight it. Some humans are choosing to fight it and are winning. Kind of depends on which group of humans you're hangin' with. https://www.endcoronavirus.org/countries

Shameful attitude and an even worse statement. Sounds like something straight from Draco himself.

And yet those who took the jab are still getting Covid. And J&J, Moderna & Pfizer as well as our Senators & Congressmen are getting rich off of insider trading.

Maybe so. But consider: https://www.clickondetroit.com/news/local/2020/05/16/tracking-michigan-covid-19-hospitalization-data-trends/

Hospitals in Michigan right now are collapsing. They are beginning to adopt triage protocols. Our medical staff of doctors and nurses are being forced to chose who they can help and who they have to let die. Looking for something to call shameful? How about what the unvaccinated are doing to our medical care givers. My niece is an ICC nurse who thank God right now is having a moments respite. What the unvaccinated have done to her and those who work with her is unconscionable. Do they remain blameless for that?

I hope the unvaccinated decide to stop their immoral behavior and get vaccinated and stay with us for many years to come. But if they do get Covid and require hospitalization I hope the virus takes them quickly so as to spare the health care workers who have to care for them unnecessarily.

There is no question that the vaccines are effective. The people going into the hospitals now for treatment of covid are predominately the unvaccinated. To say or suggest otherwise is an ignorant denial of fact.

Since both vaccinated and unvaccinated can be carriers, and spreaders of COVID, how are you distinguishing who is doing the infecting? I'm sure someone with an expanded medical degree such as yours, you must have that answer.

That's exactly what I've been saying for the past year maybe not in those words but it meant the same

I don't need an advanced medical degree to get good information: https://publichealth.jhu.edu/2021/new-data-on-covid-19-transmission-by-vaccinated-individuals

The vaccinated can be carriers but to a lesser degree. And I don't need a degree in logic to know that's a red herring because we do know, despite the infection source, it's the unvaccinated who are breaking our hospitals.

I am not trying to minimize the devastation brought about by this virus. I too have a grand daughter that is a ICU nurse in the cardiac ward at a hospital in Orlando, Fla. She has contacted the covid virus twice inspite of having been fully vaccinated and using all the required protocols. But once again I say that to wish death upon those that chose to forego the vaccine is Draconian in nature and your posted statement is equally toxic. Having said that I have served in military campaigns that were fought in the name of your freedom to hold and state whatever opinion you might have, no matter how repulsive it might be.

Unfortunately you’re drinking the kool-aide. What you’re spouting is old propaganda that has been totally discredited.

Darwin Doesn't apply here, 98-99% of the unvaccinated who get Covid will and have serviced with no need for medical attention.
