You do not have me mistaken for someone else, but you have failed to understand the point I was making. The only way I have been hurt by government shutdowns is my future plans. Others have lost everything.

And, no, covid is not responsible. Our government funded gain of function research. There is every reason to believe this virus is a product of that. China lied about it's release. Who lied about it being airborne.

Fauci lied about everything including claiming in multiple senate hearings that we have not funded gain of function research even though an NIH bureaucrat has admitted that we did.

Democratic governors locked entire businesses down and put them out of business, to protect people that didn't meed protection. Only the elderly and those with comorbidities needed to be protected. We could have done that without locking everyone down.

Then we pushed for everyone to get a vaccine that clearly is not working as we have had more deaths since we had the vaccine than before the vaccine. So, you are right about one thing. I don't blame the virus for anything. Politicians are the driving force behind everything that has happened.

My beef is that the lying SOBs have destroyed people's lives because of a series of lies and half truths. I only used myself to explain what the politicians have done, not because I am either entitled, or financially hurt by what has happened.

The fact that you are so afraid of a virus that you want government to protect you at the expense of others is what I see as entitlement. Calling out government for their tyranny is not entitlement. Entitlement is expecting to get help from the government. I want no help from the government. I want to be free to live my own life. You are the one that expects the government to help. That is what entitlement is all about. You don't seem to even understand the meaning of the words you use, and you certainly do not understand my point of view.

Last I heard denying to the senate that you funded gain of function while emailing about gain of function that you are funding is lying to the senate. Just because you don't want to look at the truth does not make it the truth. Fauci has lied repeatedly, including lying about how many people need to be vaccinated to gain herd immunity, then later admitting he lied about that as well as lying about funding gain of function. And he has lied about mask use as well. Because his private emails say that masks don't work, but his public statements say they do. One has to be a lie.
