I recently visited Black Point Wildlife Drive at the MI Wildlife Refuge. Since I was showing an out of town guest around, I didn't allow myself to indulge in a great lot of photography. I limited equipment to the Z50 with the 50-250 lens. It was mostly a show and tell outing.
The last shot was at the Refuge Visitors Center. There is a raft in the pond that draws a lot of alligators and turtles. It's a great spot to rest and sun.
Definitely a ladies man!

It is. Particularly in the winter, there are a large number of birds, wild boar, bobcats, alligators and more. It is a drive so it is easily accessable.

Oh, it was definitely Black Point. I'm glad you liked the shots. I need to go alone and concentrate on photography.

Thank you. There were also a few Little Blue Herons and Snowy Egrets. I even saw a couple of fleeing King Fishers. I caught glimpses of Roseate Spoonbills but they were not close.
A really nice set, Carol. It's always good to get out with friends.

I have no doubt that it's Black Point, I've just never seen the wooden platform in the water. Is that new?
