Took many pronghorn photos near Walden, CO in September. One series is of 5 males chasing 1 female. Had not got around to editing this group. The photos were taken from a distance. So, I was very surprised to see what was slightly behind the 2 pronghorn from the left.

Nice photos. If only we could download the picture to get a good look at the coyote sitting there.

There are more than pronghorn and wolves. We may never know what else you did not see. Happens frequently in landscapes as this. If a photograph tells a story you have written a book! There is a whole lot of information in your capture. Might the large fur coat in the right of center in front of the tree-line be a bison? There is no pitchfork but a title for your shot could be "American West Gothic." Thanx for the smiles, wish I could have been there.

It is a cow. We were in the Arapaho Nat. Wildlife Refuge looking for moose. It was frustrating to see a dark critter in the trees and bushes only to see a cow come out!!

Dennis, you should have three dots arranged horizontally in the upper righthand corner of your monitor, click on them and you will have an opportunity to zoom in on whatever is on your screen. I zoomed to 200% and saw the coyote very well.
