Years ago #2 would be considered a hyperfocal masterpiece. Wonderful capture!

I'm with JustJill, the second one just speaks to me. Glad you took the long detour. Just hope your errands didn't include picking up ice cream.
Ice cream? Damn! I always forget to pick up
something!
Then again, maybe that so-called 'forgetting' in a means to provide a rationale --RATIONALE? WE DON'T NEED NO STEENKIN' RATIONALE!!1!-- for having to go out again so's to take the 'long way home'....
You're with JustJill? Oh, yeah? JustJill's hubby okay with that?

Maybe. Now, it's just considered a buncha exposures merged together thanx to some soffware --which now is easy-peasy. Unlike the drudge it was doing so --'years ago'-- usta be. Y'know?

"Uncanny"?
You maybe spelled that wrong?
But realistically, what's the big deal? Would you expect anything less from someone who'd started off their "photographic journey" as one of Carlton Watkins' mules? Or who'd been paid to "artfully" arrange the odd body part of this or that 'Honored Fallen' for Matthew Brady? (But I gotta admit, that 2 cents/per hour daily rate was rilly, rilly sweet, back in the day. Even if that stiff stiffed me most of the time.)
But I digress....
