I love horsehair pots! And these are beautiful. But since this is the photography channel and not the pottery channel, I guess I should talk about your imaging. I really like the lighting and the setting. I much prefer the first over the second. It's the wall area that shows in the second.

I agree! This is still a work in progress. I’ll probably move the second pot to the same location as #1 and reshoot. These two pots are on my hearth on either side of my fireplace.
Very nice. I do prefer #1. In #2 I find the wall and the baseboard molding to be distracting. JMHO.

I always wanted to make some horsehair pots and with 77 horses I had plenty of mane and tail hair to use. I really don't know why I never got around to it.
