Just curious, what is this supposed to explain?

LOL! Many are not aware but FedX delivery drivers are not company employees. It works quite well for them.

The poor service from Fedex by some of our members
Not long ago, someone found a bunch of mail and packages dumped in a woods that a postal employee evidently discarded to shorten his delivery day. Unfortunately there are employees in all businesses that do not deserve the job they have, just glad that most of them do a good job under difficult situations. Luckily the delivery people that service my area do a fantastic job.

No benefits. Mostly waiting to see if their application at UPS gets accepted. So not really happy with their work.

I haven’t heard that. For starters, a route must be purchased and it is not a franchise and you are not a FedX employee. There are route owners who hire driver’s and have multiple routes and perhaps those drivers are still seeking other employment. This business model has been working very well for FedX.

That's a riot, Bill!!
It might say more about Alabama than Fedex!! No issues here with USPS, UPS or Fedex.

I've none either where I live.
Other than I miss UPS & Fedex ringing the doorbell.

I can't believe Jerry hasn't jumped all over this post; or maybe he is on his way to Alabama!

My UPS driver and other delivery drivers still ring my door bell if I am not already outside to take delivery.
