I haven't had much time for photography the past few weeks. Family medical issues have been keeping me busy. However, a couple of weeks ago we were able to get away for a three day weekend on Siesta Key in the Sarasota area. I took quite a few pictures and will share as I get them processed. We were very fortunate to stay in the Siesta Key Dream Inn. We had a lovely two bedroom unit with a full kitchen and every amenity you could imagine. They provided everything you would need for a weekend at the beach including beach chairs and umbrellas. There was even an outdoor private patio with a grill and patio table & chairs. Unfortunately a front had just gone through and the beach, which is in easy walking distance, was not up to par for the gulf coast. The water was extremely rough with breakers that are more characteristic of the Atlantic side. We were able to walk to the Siesta Village which has restaurants, shops and entertainment. The Sarasota area has many more attractions other than the beach so it was a good trip.

Looks like a very nice place to rest and recuperate. I hope everyone in your family is back to healthy.
Thanks for sharing!!

Thank you, Dodie. The medical challenges are not over just yet but we are dealing with it and doing well. It was a perfect place to chill!

It was a beautiful place. Everything was very fresh and upbeat! I believe it had been recently remodeled.

Thank you, Mike. I’m working on more. I did’t get to do as much shooting as I would have liked.
