tide to come in... Had a play with some stock pictures of mermaids on my local beach, the cubes are the water holding ones that go in compost to kept moist longer...

I think the cubes can stand on their own. The same would be true with the mermaid in the surf. I maybe missing something but I don’t see them going together in the same image.

The thought was the mermaids were left by the tide going out and were waiting for it to come back in the return to the sea and the mermaid in the sea was there to help them. As the cubes were transparent anti looked as though you could see the sand I tried to make it as though you could see the sea through the top bit of them...

This is very well done Val, but I’m sorta with Frank on the concept - not that that matters, it’s just good to see such well sorted work.

With or without the cubes, the mermaid in the sea is a great rendition. I get the feeling that she is there to reclaim her sisters who have been trapped. Your work on the cubes is outstanding! The whole scene is surreal!
