Yes, much better in B&W. This cell tower is across the street from the physical therapy clinic where I was being treated and I happen to have my cameras with me and so I took this snap shot.

Jeff, here another shot taken with my Fuji X-T2. The first one was with my Nikon D750. This pose shows more of the tower and from a different angle.

Almost anything tall or standing is best in portrait mode.
