I am considering selling my Leica M10. Can anybody give advice on coming up with the number of shutter clicks?

Here are a lot of links, in case you're having trouble.

http://regex.info/exif.cgi
Get Irfanview (free) and also get the plug-ins for it. Start the program, open a photo, click on Image > Information > Exif info. Or you can just press I and/or E to get lots of info.
Get ExifInfo - also free. Unzip and get the icon onto the Desktop. Find a photo and drag it onto the icon. A window will open with loads of info. Look down the list for Shutter Count (or whatever they call it).

I don't know yet. I have been really busy doing important things like hunting and fishing. I need to get the time to look it up on eBay to see what they have been selling for. I am also looking to list an M6 TTL, a 28mm f2.8, 35mm f1.4 Summilux and a 50mm f2 Summicron as well as a Visoflex for the M10. I hope to have everything ready to list in a week or two. Sorry for the delay.

Jerry I truly appreciate the links you provided. I tried a couple that work for me usually on Nikon cameras but they said there was not enough information for the Leica I provided.

I then tried the capture integration link. It looked like it would work fine. I ended up with the exif data and the unique serial number needed. Into the calculator, on the number 16 by following the instructions, I entered 4F34512. Then clicking on the 10 button I got a number of 83051794. There are no decimal points at all and that is the number. I am quite positive I can find no correlation to a shutter click number anywhere in that number. I might think 8305 clicks but have no idea.

Thanks for the information you provided.

Yes it is. Both cameras are pretty close to new. That is the reason I would sell them. I love them but just don't use them as much as I thought I would.

Thank you very much for providing that link. It did not work for the Leica but I appreciate the information.

Thanks to everyone who replied.

I contacted Leica Customer Care in NJ. This is a reply I received from them this morning:

Please let the customer know that there is not a way for customers to access such information on any of our cameras. Thanks.

That is what I thought as well. The one link provided by Jerry seemed to work OK but when I looked at the final numbers they could not have been correct. Possibly/maybe probably I did something wrong. But then again I see nothing on YouTube nor any other area for shutter clicks on a Leica except for an M8 on YouTube.
