Was privileged to accompany a good friend and two of her friends, all three accomplished photogs, on an outing to Joe Wheeler State Park on 11/2/21. All we found were pelicans but they put on quite a show as they were in a feeding frenzy. The mid-day lighting was very harsh but we did the best we could. I found when they launched simultaneously after a fish they looked like ballet performers. Pelican Lake not Swan Lake
It was a great day and the fellowship was splendid.
What an amazingly beautiful set

Thank you for the kind words. They encourage me to do better.
Great set..
Beautiful photos
An outstanding set, Gerald! Marg posted the photo of you Hogs and it appears that you had a good time and excellent photos to show from this venture.

Yes, it was a fun day! Four photogs shooting the same subjects and each one sees something different. Thanks for the good words.
Awesome images, Gerald. The pelicans are your friends!!
These birds pass through here, and the white is difficult in hard mid day light. Excellent job!
Nice work. Are they the inspiration for synchronized swimmers?
I like the light captured in these images.
