I'm not a computer guru.
I would like to find the favorites file to clean out some old favorites.
Where is it?
Thanks! Pat

It is better to use the bookmark management function in your browser but, to answer your question:

C:\Users\"Your login name here"\Favorites

This did not work for me. It should this file was empty.
I am using Google Chrome as the browser and it's favorite files.
Thank you for responding!

Can you not click on Favorites from within Chrome and cleanup (maybe it's says remove) from there?

I can remove one at a time.
That's a slow road to use......
I haven't figured out how to delete many links at one time.
Thanks for the idea.

From within Google Chrome, find the three vertical dots in the upper right hand corner next to the address bar and left click.

Hover over "Bookmarks" to open a secondary window. Click on "Bookmark Manager".

All of your bookmarks will be listed. From there, press and hold the ctrl and left click each bookmark you want to remove and then press the delete key to remove from the favorites folder.

Good Luck

Perhaps it’s best to just ignore it and pretend it’s not there.
