I’m too young to remember those drills, but I am familiar with them due to my research into the Manhattan Project, Operation Paperclip, and other aspects of the post WWII nuclear race. Still, I’ve been a Beatles fan for 50 years, so disparaging Yoko is mandatory.

I vaguely remember them from when I was in first grade back in 1960/61. Instead of going to the hall, we got under our desks and covered our heads with our hands.
