I love this camera, viewfinder, flex view lcd display
I shoot RAW always, has every control a dsl has at 1lb.
I will grow with this camera for years.
but i have little experence with it.
As tou follow this group they always advise read the manual,
well 144 pages of stuff.
I shoot daily and very happy with my effort,
any short comings are mine not the equipment

When I bought my Fuji, I had sold my Canon Rebel, I wanted to get a point and shoot with manual controls. I bought the Fuji S 1500. I have not been able physically to be out and about, but the pictures I have taken are acceptable. It is just neat to still have the manual controls.

With regard to the manual. Agree that at 144 pages it's bit much to print out. However, I printed the most important pages and (because I have a Kindle reader) saved it as a PDF file and sent it to my Kindle, which, like the Fuji camera goes everywhere with me. Just read it on the run.
