I was able to make the trip out to WV to see my daughter play at her college.
It's D2 so the action is good. I picked the right games to get out there for,
most notably the most intense home game they have every had.
Her team pulled out the win at 34-32 and the place went nuts.
There are players from Spain, Poland, Brazil, USA - in honor
of one of the players from Hawaii the parent gave out leis to the
players and coaches. I post these more for the reactions and moments than quality, as
I was just in the stands shooting and didn't try to get on the floor
like I can at high schools. I shot these all at 1/1000 f2.8 auto white
balance with my D500 and the Tamron 70-200 f2.8. Lightly processed
through Lightroom - nothing fancy and I know I just missed focus on
some really good ones.
…you can feel the adrenaline in these shots…nice job…!

Great action set, well done. Sometimes shooting from the stands gives a better viewing angle of the players eyes.

Very nice photos - shooting from the stands does not appear to be a disadvantage
