Hello,

I'm just asking if anyone has yet installed Windows 11 and if so what do you feel about it please?

I installed it yesterday and apart from a few graphics changes I'm quite underwhelde and I can't understand what all the fuss is about.

Best....  Phil

I don't intend to bother, unless something is brought up showing more improvement than currently being described! You're right - it doesn't appear really to be very much, at least in terms of my usage. And Windows 10, which is very good, will continue to be supported for some time. I'll be 94 shortly - it may outlast me; I doubt I'll live past 127!!!

I've got one of the few i7's that won't support it. So I'm spared this. I'll buy my next PC (ex commercial refurbished) when they've got it all sorted out. About a year before Windows 12!

My PC's will support it, but I'm in no rush.

Yes - heavy on graphics changes. Have you tried making a different browser the default?

I have an Intel i7 6700K quad core, and that isn't supported by Windows 11.

My i7 won't accept it and it's only 5 years old. Still works fine without it.

Installed a couple of days ago. Have not noticed any great new things but probably a lot under the hood for security etc that we don’t see. Absolutely no problems with the upgrade.
Still trying to find the new stuff

I have an I7 8700k cpu and added a TPM module and still no good for Windows 11, oh well, Windows 10 will be good until 2025 and it still works great for me.

There's an easy fix if your computer isn't ready for it. "Ask Leo" demonstrates that. You go into the BIOS > Security, and then enable that app that's missing.

I won't consider it until the Ryzen performance problem is fixed. Even then, It will need to have some enhancement that matters to me. It looks like there is nothing in it that I care about, so it is a non-starter for me.

Speaking of "enhancement," I just remembered the other word. In a previous post, I mentioned that "enhanced" and one other word were very popular in the 1980s. I just remembered that other word: "turbo." Lots of computer components were either enhanced, turbo, or both.

As I've always done with Microsoft software, I'll install Win 11 after its 3rd or 4th update. I don't like being their beta tester!

If you are addressing my post, Jerry, no, going into bios will not work, I have tried everything.
